Networking Opportunities?
Delegates are invited to gather at the Oxford Paramount Hotel to register from 15.00 on Tuesday 9th and to enjoy the Introduction to Oxford Tour at 16.00 or to meet up in the evening with colleagues and make new contacts at the Icebreaker Reception and Buffet Supper. A welcome drink and evening supper featuring an array of delicious local produce for delegates to sample will be served from 19.30-21.30.

On Wednesday 10th, after their Study Tours, all delegates are welcome to join the Lord Mayor of Oxford’s Reception in the world famous Bodleian Divinity School to enjoy a light snack of local produce washed down with some local ale (wine or soft drinks also available). Access to the amazing Bodleian Library above the Divinity School has been arranged.

Afterwards delegates can take some free time in Oxford or return to the hotel to relax before the Conference Dinner. Following a three course dinner, we will be entertained by Slim Lightfoot, a superb blues singer/guitarist before retiring to the bar (or to bed).

Fringe Event –Whose quality is it anyhow?
Introduced in 2005, the TMI fringe event provides a rare opportunity for senior practitioners in destination management to attend a strategic level policy debate. The focus for 2007 will be the relevance of the star scheme in the age of social networking and online consumer reviews.
